Eminem references Megan Thee Stallion shooting in new song Houdini

Eminem has referenced the Megan Thee Stallion shooting incident in his new song, Houdini.

On Thursday, the rapper released the first track from his forthcoming 12th studio album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce).

The song, which was produced by Eminem and his long-time collaborator Luis Resto, references the incident in which singer/rapper Tory Lanez shot Megan in both feet after a party in 2020.

The 51-year-old raps, "If I was to ask for Megan Thee Stallion if she would collab with me / Would I really have a shot at a feat? I don't know, but I'm glad to be, back."

Megan's name wasn't the only one mentioned in the controversial track, as the 15-time Grammy winner also took a swipe at drag queen and TV presenter RuPaul and his own children.

"Cancel me, what? Okay, that's it, go ahead Paul, quit / Snake ass p**ck, you male cross dresser, fake a** b**ch / And I'll probably get s**t for that (watch) / But you can all suck my d**k, in fact, f**k them/ F**k Dre, f**k Jimmy, f**k me, f**k you / F**k my own kids, they're brats (f**k 'em) / They can screw off, them and you all (yeah) / You too, Paul, got two balls, big as RuPaul's," the father of three raps.

The Mockingbird artist released a star-studded music video to accompany the track, featuring guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre, 50 Cent, Pete Davidson and more.

Eminem announced The Death of Slim Shady in April. Following an appearance at the first round of the NFL Draft in Detroit, he dropped a trailer featuring a crime reporter announcing the death of the rapper's alter ego, Slim Shady.

The album is due to be released later this year.
