3JS is a Dutch band from Volendam, North Holland. The band’s name consists of the first letters of participants names: Jan Dulles, Jaap Kwakman and Jaap de Witte. All three band members had been popular in their own right since 1996, and in 2002 they started performing as 3JS. The band gained recognition after their debut album “Watermensen” was released in 2007. On 15 July 2010 TROS, a Dutch broadcaster, announced that the band will participate in the Eurovision 2011 contest in Düsseldorf. |
